LIVE WELL BUILD WELL – SHOUTOUT
Today we recognise Brett, a brick and block layer working across the Rodney area of Auckland.
Brett shared how he leans on simple Eastern Taoism principles to stay steady in a tough trade. He’s learnt to take responsibility for his response to challenges, rather than reacting on autopilot. By observing his emotional state, he creates a gap for calm, clarity, and resilience, even on the hardest days onsite.
Brett’s approach is a powerful reminder that mental fitness isn’t about perfection. It’s about pausing, noticing what’s going on inside, and choosing the response that keeps you grounded.
Well done Brett, building strong from the inside out.
If you believe in stronger, healthier builders/tradies, like, follow and share.
