LiveWellBuildWell Challenge Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the LiveWellBuildWell Challenge. By participating in this challenge, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (T&C). Please read them carefully. 

Eligibility

• Open to all residents of New Zealand aged 18 and above.
• Employees or contractors of LiveWellBuildWell and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
• You must have a public social media profile and share your LiveWellBuildWell challenge content using the specific #hashtags to be eligible to win the prizes.

Challenge Period The challenge begins on May 6, 2024, and ends on May 30, 2024. Any content shared outside this period will not be eligible.

How to Participate

• Like and follow @livewellbuildwell on Facebook and Instagram
• Participate in weekly activities as outlined on our website and social media platforms.
• Share your progress on social media using the hashtag #LWBWChallenge & #BeYourBestSelf and tag @livewellbuildwell

Content Guidelines

• All content must be original and appropriate for a public audience.
• Content must not contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate material.
• LiveWellBuildWell reserves the right to remove any content that does not comply with these guidelines.

Prize

• The grand prize of the Masport Lifestyle Plus 4 BBQ will be awarded based on the decision of the judges.
• Eligible entries will be entered into a draw to win the main prize of the Masport Lifestyle Plus 4 BBQ.
• The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Judges decision is final and np decisions will be entered into. 
• The winner will be notified via the social media handle through which they share the content.

Rights

By participating, you grant LiveWellBuildWell the right to use your name, likeness, and any content you provide for promotional purposes without further compensation.

Data Protection

• All personal information will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• Personal data will only be used for the administration of the challenge and not disclosed to third parties without consent.

Liability

LiveWellBuildWell will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from participation in the challenge or from the acceptance or use of any prize.

Health and Safety Disclaimer

• The information and activities provided during the LiveWellBuildWell Challenge are for educational and informational purposes only and are not intended as medical or health advice. Participation in any physical activities or application of any psychological strategies discussed during the challenge should not replace consultation with qualified health care professionals. LiveWellBuildWell is not a licensed medical care provider and represents that it has no expertise in diagnosing, examining, or treating medical conditions of any kind.

• We strongly advise you to seek professional advice before beginning any new fitness regimen or mental health practices. You should be in good physical condition and be able to participate in the exercise. LiveWellBuildWell is not responsible for any injuries that result from participating in the activities suggested during the LiveWellBuildWell Challenge.

Liability Waiver

• By participating in the LiveWellBuildWell Challenge, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself, and agree to release and discharge LiveWellBuildWell from any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown, arising out of LiveWellBuildWell’s negligence. This includes being released from any legal action that might be brought against the company by any party claiming co-liability or vicarious liability in your actions.

Medical and Health Liability

• LiveWellBuildWell accepts no liability for injury or damage however caused, resulting from the use of information, suggestions, or activities provided during the challenge. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are capable of undergoing a routine of exercises or advice provided by any of our platforms without undue risk to your health or physical condition.

General

• LiveWellBuildWell reserves the right to cancel or amend the challenge and these T&C without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of LiveWellBuildWell’s control.
• This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by either ACC or the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand.
• Any changes to the challenge will be updated on the official LiveWellBuildWell Challenge page and through our social media channels @livewellbuildwell.

Governing Law These T&C are governed by the laws of New Zealand and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
